Introduction

Mabame.com ("Service") is an internet service owned and operated by Mabame, Inc. ("Mabame", "we, "us", "our"). Mabame is committed to providing you with a private and safe Service. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how personal information is collected from users of the Service, and how that information is used and disclosed. By accessing, browsing, or using the Service, you consent to this Policy.

Privacy Policy Changes

We will modify this Policy from time to time and we will notify you of such changes only by posting the modified Policy on the Service. We encourage you to read and understand this Policy each time you visit the Service to see if it has been updated since your last visit.

We Protect Your Privacy

We are passionately committed to protecting your privacy:
  •   No ads. We do not run banner ads, pop ups, pop unders, or any other kind of commercial ads.
  •   No spam. We do not send you unsolicited communications for marketing purposes.
  •   We do not share your information with anyone for marketing purposes.
  •   We do not engage in cross-marketing or link-referral programs with any other sites.
  •   We do not employ any tracking devices such as cookies, web beacons, single-pixel gifs for marketing purposes.
  •   Account information is password protected. Password is stored encrypted so that even we cannot access it. You should keep your password safe.
  •   You should always log out and close your browser when you are done using the Service.

The Service might have links to third party websites, which may have different privacy practices. We are not responsible for, nor have any control over, the privacy policies of any third party websites, and encourage all users to read the privacy policies of each and every website visited.

We Collect Minimal Information

We ask and store very minimal information from you. When signing up for an account with Mabame, we ask for your email address, for you to create a password, and for you to create a name used as your subdomain for the Service. These three pieces of information are used to identify you for the Service and provide access to your account.

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your financial information such as your credit card number, billing address. All your financial information are collected and stored by our third party payment service, PayPal, a leading payment provider who specializes in financial transactions and security. See the PayPal Privacy Policy for more details.

Our web server logs collect standard web log entries when you access the Service, including but not limited to your IP address, page URL, and timestamp. Web logs help us to diagnose problems with our server, to administer the Service, and to otherwise provide our service to you.

All data including but not limited to text, photo, video, audio ("Content") you post, upload, transmit, or otherwise make available to the Service is solely done at your own discretion. Although Mabame owns all of the code, databases and rights to the Service, you retain all rights to your Content.

Cookies are small files that are stored on your computer at the request of a website. We use session cookies to confirm a user is logged in. These session cookies terminate once the user closes the browser. If you select the Remember Me option on a site login page, we use a persistent cookie with an anonymous unique identifier that allows access to the site without entering the site's email address and password. This cookie can be removed by clicking the Logout link on the site.

You Control Your Data

You may make changes to your personal information and Content at any time. You may also choose to cancel your account and delete your Content at any time.

How We Store Data

Mabame uses third party vendors and hosting providers to supply the necessary hardware, software, communication and related technology required to run Mabame.

All of your information and Content are stored in a database on one or more servers. While your contact information is stored normally, in plain text, your password is encrypted so that even we cannot access it. This prevents others from being able to access your account. All databases used for storage are password protected by Mabame.

Your information and Content stored in our database, even after you have deleted them and no one else can access them, may still be archived elsewhere due to backup purposes.

Circumstances Under Which We May Release Data

We may use or disclose your information and Content we have of you in response to a subpoena or court order, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims. If we deem it necessary, we will also use or share your information and Content in order to investigate or prevent illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person or the security of our Service, violations of our Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.

We welcome your feedback. If you have any comments or concerns, or would like to contact us for any reason, please email us at support@mabame.com
